The Global Citizen campaign is a global initiative originating from the New York Global Poverty Project office. The American office arranged and executed an huge open air concert in Central Park in 2012 including speeches from leading voices in the development field and bands including Neil Young with Crazy Horse, Foo Fighters, Band of Horses and the Black Keys.

Aimed at engaging people with issues of extreme poverty (and connecting them with the NGO’s and other bodies campaigning to address these issues) Global Citizen is a campaign run by the Global Poverty Project.

Incorporating an interview with UK manager Elisha London, the purpose of the shoot was to gather footage to be included in an existing piece of promotional material. Aside from the tight deadline and brief to adhere to the existing style, the challenge of the project was to re-edit the interview to match the required script and find appropriate footage to seamlessly cover the edits and satisfy all client requirements.
